The first in a short series of Bible Study classes used the liturgical texts of the First Sunday of Lent (Sunday of Orthodoxy) to illustrate several theological precepts of the Orthodox Church as well as aspects of typology in biblical exegesis and iconography. An audio file of the class is attached, together with a PDF version of the PowerPoint presentation. Several minutes at the beginning of the class and the discussion period at the end were cut to make the file more amenable to online listening.
The files of the class are presented here primarily for the benefit of class participants. But others are welcome to listen to the audio and view the PowerPoint slides in the PDF version attached.
